WORD 4 Today 7/30: In making me a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. I act in the priestly service of the Gospel (the good news) of God, in order that the sacrificial offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable [to God], consecrated and made holy by the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:16 AMP

Confess: I’m reminded that I am a MINISTER & I have A MINISTRY!  My goal is to INFLUENCE OTHERS for Jesus!  May God use MY TESTIMONY for HIS GLORY! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/25: I pray that God, who gives hope, will bless you with complete happiness and peace because of your faith. And may the power of the Holy Spirit fill you with hope. Romans 15:13 CEV

Confess: Again I TAKE TO HEART other believers just like Jesus!  This brings respect & honor to God.  I am ACCEPTING and LOVING to fellow believers.  We are FAMILY! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/22: Therefore, accept each other just as Christ has accepted you so that God will be given glory. Romans 15:7 NLT; Welcome and receive [to your hearts] one another, then, even as Christ has welcomed and received you, for the glory of God. AMP

Confess: When I meet other believers I have no problem ACCEPTING & RECEIVING them as part of MY FAMILY!  I want to act like Jesus Who received me & bring GLORY & HONOR to God! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/21: Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:6 NLT; Then we’ll be a choir—not our voices only, but our very lives singing in harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus! MSG

Confess: It is AMAZING when HARMONY comes out in the natural, as in a choir.  But it is more amazing to HARMONIZE with BELIEVERS as each of us HARMONIZE with the Lord!  That is SUPERNATURAL & MARVELOUS! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/20: May God, who gives this patience and encouragement, help you live in complete harmony with each other, as is fitting for followers of Christ Jesus. Romans 15:5 NLT; May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. MSG

Confess: Today I am COMMITTED to being PATIENT & ENCOURAGING to others.  And I desire to live in COMPLETE HARMONY with others.  I am MATURING & GROWING in my life of FAITH!  Hallelujah! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/19: Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. Romans 15:4 NLT; Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it’s written for us. God wants the combination of his steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever he will do next. MSG

Confess: Today I’m THANK for the WORD of God!  I can LEARN & GROW & be ENCOURAGED.  I KNOW that every PROMISE WILL BE FULFILLED in my life!  God’s Word is BECOMING FLESH in my life!  Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/18: For even Christ didn’t live to please himself. As the Scriptures say, “The insults of those who insult you, O God, have fallen on me.” Romans 15:3 NLT; That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out. “I took on the troubles of the troubled,” is the way Scripture puts it. MSG

Confess: Lord, help me to be KIND & LOVING to others when their TROUBLES enter my life!  May I always seek God’s best in their lives & not COMPLAIN about how hard it has become!  May I be compassionate & loving towards them today. - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/17: We should help others do what is right and build them up in the Lord. Romans 15:2 NLT; Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” MSG

Confess: Today I will look for others to SERVE & BLESS in the Name of the Lord!  I want to be AWARE of the NEEDS of others & focus on HELPING THEM! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/16: We who are strong must be considerate of those who are sensitive about things like this. We must not just please ourselves. Romans 15:1 NLT; Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. MSG

Confess: I will ENDEAVOR to be CONSIDERATE & LOVING towards others even if we disagree.  My goal is not to PLEASE myself or others but to PLEASE GOD ONLY!  I will be a SERVANT & not seek for status today! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/15: But if you’re not sure, if you notice that you are acting in ways inconsistent with what you believe—some days trying to impose your opinions on others, other days just trying to please them—then you know that you’re out of line. If the way you live isn’t consistent with what you believe, then it’s wrong. Romans 14:23 MSG

Confess: There is NO HYPOCRISY in my life today!  What I BELIEVE & what I DO match.  I’m determined to LIVE UP to the VALUES found in the WORD OF GOD!  Consistency in my living & loving is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/14: You may believe there’s nothing wrong with what you are doing, but keep it between yourself and God. Blessed are those who don’t feel guilty for doing something they have decided is right. Romans 14:22 NLT; Cultivate your own relationship with God, but don’t impose it on others. You’re fortunate if your behavior and your belief are coherent. Romans 14:22 MSG

Confess: Cultivating & growing in my relationship with God is absolutely vital today!  My beliefs & behavior match & connect.  They are not IMPOSED on others, that would be LEGALISM.  I live my life FREE from strife & disunity! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/13:  It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or do anything else if it might cause another believer to stumble. Romans 14:21 NLT; So be sensitive and courteous to the others who are eating. Don’t eat or say or do things that might interfere with the free exchange of love. MSG

Confess: I’m committed to live a life that is FREE from OFFENSE or harm to another believer.  My example, my testimony is to BRING GLORY to God.  I will ALWAYS walk in love!  Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/12: Don’t tear apart the work of God over what you eat. Remember, all foods are acceptable, but it is wrong to eat something if it makes another person stumble. Romans 14:20 NLT; You’re certainly not going to permit an argument over what is served or not served at supper to wreck God’s work among you, are you? I said it before and I’ll say it again: All food is good, but it can turn bad if you use it badly, if you use it to trip others up and send them sprawling. MSG

Confess: Today I’m determined that I will always build people up & not tear them down.  I will seek to SPEAK WELL of others & OVERLOOK wrongs committed against me.  My goal is to DO THE LOVING THING! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/11: So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up. Romans 14:19 NLT; So let’s agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words; don’t drag them down by finding fault. MSG

Confess: Staying in UNITY is a vital part of my life as a BELIEVER!  I will always seek to HARMONIZE with other Christians!  My desire is not to criticize or find fault with others but to ENCOURAGE & LIFE THEM UP!  Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/10: If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. Romans 14:18 NLT; Your task is to single-mindedly serve Christ. Do that and you’ll kill two birds with one stone: pleasing the God above you and proving your worth to the people around you. MSG

Confess: Again my #1 desire is to PLEASE GOD & that happens when I SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God & SERVE Christ!  I am DEDICATED to ALWAYS SEEK God’s BEST in every situation! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/9:  For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Romans 14:17 NLT; God’s kingdom isn’t a matter of what you put in your stomach, for goodness’ sake. It’s what God does with your life as he sets it right, puts it together, and completes it with joy. MSG

Confess: What I EAT or DRINK doesn’t matter.  The most IMPORTANT THING is to DO GOOD, SEEK PEACE & always be FILLED WITH JOY!  Pleasing & living to glorify God is what REALLY MATTERS!  - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/8: I know and am convinced on the authority of the Lord Jesus that no food, in and of itself, is wrong to eat. But if someone believes it is wrong, then for that person it is wrong. Romans 14:14 NLT

Confess: If someone believes that something is wrong than it is WRONG FOR THEM.  It is not necessarily wrong for me.  I won’t be BOUND BY LEGALISM but God’s WORD will lead & guide my life! Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/7: Then let us no more criticize and blame and pass judgment on one another, but rather decide and endeavor never to put a stumbling block or an obstacle or a hindrance in the way of a brother. Romans 14:13 AMP

Confess: O.K. it’s settled: I won’t criticize or blame others.  I will never put an obstacle or hindrance that causes others to trip or fall.  I will ALWAYS ENCOURAGE & LIFT UP! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/6: We must stop judging others. We must also make up our minds not to upset anyone’s faith. Romans 14:13 CEV; Forget about deciding what’s right for each other. Here’s what you need to be concerned about: that you don’t get in the way of someone else, making life more difficult than it already is. MSG

Confess: How TRUE that is today!  I’m not the judge or jury of others!  I REFUSE to UPSET the faith of others.  I’ve got to take care of me & not get in the way of others!  I want to make life easier for them not more difficult!  Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/5: Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. Romans 14:12 NLT; And so, each of us must give an account to God for what we do. CEV

Confess: I’m not responsible for what others do.  I’m only responsible for WHAT I DO!  And I’m DETERMINED to live & do everything for GOD’S GLORY! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/4: IN [this] freedom Christ has made us free [and completely liberated us]; stand fast then, and do not be hampered and held ensnared and submit again to a yoke of slavery [which you have once put off]. - Galatians 5:1 AMP

Confess: Today I’m reminded that FREEDOM is not FREE.  There is a great price that is paid for my freedom.  Thanks to all those who sacrificed to make us free in America.  And especially thanks to Jesus for dying for my FREEDOM as well.  Happy Independence Day July 4th.  God bless the U.S.A. amen!

Confess: As a BELEIVER I DECLARE my ALLEGIANCE to God & only to Him!  Jesus is LORD & I BOW the knee only to Him!  Hallelujah! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/2: So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. Romans 14:10 NLT

Confess: Today I REFUSE to be CONDEMNING & JUDGMENTAL toward others!  We ALL will STAND before God individually!  I answer to God NOT OTHERS!  Amen! - P. Rick

WORD 4 Today 7/1: Christ died and rose again for this very purpose—to be Lord both of the living and of the dead. Romans 14:9 NLT; That’s why Jesus lived and died and then lived again: so that he could be our Master across the entire range of life and death, and free us from the petty tyrannies of each other. Confess: JESUS died & ROSE FROM THE DEAD so I can LIVE ETERNALLY with Him!  He is the LORD of the living & the dead.  In the END death will SUBMIT to Him & VICTORY will be ours! - P. Rick
