What makes SUPER Sunday SUPERB?
Superbowl Sunday, it is a day relished by sports fans. Did you know over $4 billion will be wagered on this game alone? It is the one sport that settles the question of who is the greatest team on one day with one game.
But what makes SUPER Sunday super, or SUPERB? Is it the football game, the excitement of a full week of broadcasts that lead up to the BIG GAME? For many that is the answer.
But what about for believers? What makes SUPER Sunday super or SUPERB?
The answer to that question lies in the reality of FAITH. Without faith it’s just another day. But with FAITH in Jesus the CHRIST, the MESSIAH, the ANOINTED ONE, it is a SUPERB, a SUPER day? Why? I’m glad you asked that insightful question.
Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb…But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. Sunday is SUPER because JESUS rose from the dead! So for the BELIEVER every SUNDAY is SUPER Sunday.
