14 But you must CONTINUE in the things which you have LEARNED and been assured of (remain faithful to the things you have been taught- NLT; learned & become convinced in- NIV), knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have KNOWN the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you WISE for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2 Timothy 3:14-15 (NKJV)
(AMP) But as for you, CONTINUE to hold to the things that you have learned and of which you ARE CONVINCED, knowing from whom you learned [them],
Continue – meno: to stay, abide, remain- NASC;
Not only must you START but you must CONTINUE in what you have learned & known. Keep the FAITH! Remain FAITHFUL to what you have learned & become CONVINCED about!
Remember what the word says about Abraham being convinced? Romans 4:20-21 (NKJV) 20 He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, 21 and being FULLY CONVINCED that what He had promised He was also able to perform.
There is power in CONSISTENCY; there is power that is released when you CONTINUE in the Word. But you must be CONVINCED of its reality, its vitality for you today. You must constantly keep the Word before your eyes and coming out of your mouth. Then faith appears and the power of consistency, the power of declaring the Word is released on your behalf.
Be FAITHFUL, be FULL of faith!!!
