The question we are faced with in our Christian life is as follows:
Is it POSSIBLE to BACKSLIDE???
Consider Hebrews 6:4-6 (NKJV) 4 For it is impossible (to renew to repentance –HCSB; [to restore and bring again to repentance] -AMP) for those who were ONCE ENLIGHTENED, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers (sharers –AMP) of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 if they fall away (If they then deviate from the faith and turn away from their allegiance -AMP), to renew them again to repentance (to bring them back to repentance -AMP), since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame (contempt and shame and public disgrace -AMP).
Noticed the descriptive words: enlightened, tasted gift, partakers, tasted word & power
Consider that IMPOSSIBLE to REPENT, to respond in faith...It seems it may be POSSIBLE to LOSE OUT with God. Be sure to check out the message that is posted today with that title. Pastor Rick
